回历新年：回教堂的扬声器

12月18日回历新年，这天也是公共假期。回历新年，回教日历新年的第一天，非穆斯林对这一天没有太大的感觉，它不及开斋节这么热闹欢腾，也没有哈芝节宰杀和赠送牛肉的布施分享。

除了穆斯林之外，其他宗教信仰者对它也的感觉是，哦！公共假期也！

Ulema calls for ban on noisy loudspeakers

The South Kalimantan’s chapter of Indonesian Ulema Council has proposed an edict that bans the use of loudspeakers if it is considered to be disturbing other people, even though they are used to broadcast the call to prayer five times a day or a sermon.

Council member Muhammad Noor, who is a lecturer at Antasari State Islamic Institute in the provincial capital of Banjarmasin, told Antara state news agency Monday that a group of ulema attending a discussion in Tabalong regency recently concluded that deafening loudspeakers, albeit for good purposes, could spark disagreement among Muslims and non-Muslims due to the noise and discomfort caused.

Noor said the ulema suggested that Muslims exercise their freedom of religion without sacrificing the rights of other people.

Participants of the discussion agreed that the use of loudspeakers was aimed at propagating Islam, but its excessive application might be counterproductive.

The authorities in Cairo have come up with an excellent idea to rid the city of the cacophony of competing mosque loudspeakers there. They will be fitting all the mosques with receivers so that they will rebroadcast the call of a single muezzin from the state radio station. The muezzin will be one of a panel of 30 chosen for the harmoniousness of their voices.

There is, of course, opposition from the hundreds of muezzins who will be put out of business, but the alternative suggested would be to call the adhan as they used to do for nearly 1,400 years - by climbing the minarets and using their unaided voices.

此外，外国舆论对“Azan”也有很多意见，他们对呼唤祈祷的声浪表达不满，除了发动舆论之外，也通过漫画表达不满。



同时也对之前早前瑞士公投通过禁止回教堂的尖塔建筑进行讨论。

（日內瓦30日訊）瑞士週日就是否禁止興建回教堂的尖塔進行公投，結果超過57%選民支持禁令，瑞士將會修憲落實禁令。當地官方電視台形容投票結果「令人大為驚訝」。

回教堂的尖塔又叫宣禮塔，是回教堂建築的裝飾藝術和標誌之一，用來讓宗教領袖召喚回教徒祈禱。在瑞士共有160所回教堂和文化中心，其中僅有4座帶有尖塔的回教堂。

公投由第一大黨、極右派的瑞士人民黨發起，該黨指責尖塔象徵著渴望獲得建立回教法律和社會秩序的權力，而這違反了瑞士憲章的自由權內容。

此前，該黨為公投印製的一張宣傳海報上，畫著一個戴著回教徒面紗的婦女，背景是一面瑞士國旗。國旗上有好幾個象徵導彈的回教堂尖塔。海報上還用法文寫著：支持禁止回教風格的尖塔！反對者指控這幅海報故意以陰森的氣氛傳遞恐懼。



 與回教國關係受影響

聯合國曾公開抨擊人民黨排外的態度，但該黨在2007年大選中獲得前所未有的大量選票。近年來，回教徒的社會地位在瑞士常引起爭論。

路透社報導，公投的結果令人吃驚，對瑞士政府來說，也不是一個好消息。他們擔心禁令如果通過的話，將在瑞士的回教徒社區引起騷亂，還會破壞瑞士和回教國家的關係。
